The Cedar School extensively focuses on the health and wellness of our students both psychologically and physiologically. Well-being remains an underlying theme in all Cedar School activities. We incorporate wellness activities for the students as part of our curriculum throughout the year.
The Mentorship Program
The aim of this mentorship program is to provide support to students and to boost factors that can lead to their educational success, such as connectedness to the school environment, improved relationships with teachers, staff and peers, improved academic/non-academic competence, and greater access and use of other support systems.
Physical Education within our well-being division aims to increase the physical competence, health-related fitness, self-responsibility and enjoyment of physical activity for all students so that they can be physically active for a lifetime. Physical Education is part of our academic curriculum.
