Amna Sohail graduated from IBA Karachi in January 2016 with a Bachelors in Economics and Mathematics. Her passion for Math began at an early age. Since there are various applications of Mathematics (specifically Statistics) involved in Economics, Amna believes that she chose the ideal field for herself.
“I have always been passionate about teaching Mathematics and started off with a teaching assistant experience at Nixor College during my A levels.” Now, she perceives Mathematics to be a sort of “art.”
She has also worked as a teaching assistant at IBA, helping her transition at Cedar as the Mathematics Associate Teacher. Since Mathematics is important for several reasons, including the development of problem-solving skills, improvement of analytical skills, and increasing mental acuity, Amna looks forward to inspire students in the classroom everyday. With an appreciation for the beauty of the subject and its significance, her interest also lies in subjects like Physics, Astronomy and Accounting.
