Our science society CoRDS hosted Cedar’s first ever inter-school science competition SCINNOVA. The idea behind the event was to bridge the gap between theoretical science and the application of the required knowledge. It was a two day event with activities designed to develop skills like critical thinking, teamwork and sportsman spirit. The 4 modules that this event revolved around were “Caduceus” (biology), “Antheropoidis” (physics), “Teveloc” (math) and “Erusaert” (chemistry). 15 teams from schools all over Karachi participated. We even had multiple teams from a few schools. The winner and the runner up of Scinnova’18 was KGS.
