Once again this year Cedar College wrapped up the year 2017 with its annual Tribute to Cedar Knights at Turtle Beach on 21st December. After a filling breakfast of ‘halwa puri’, the students were loaded onto a caravan of busses and it was time to hit the beach. With over 800 students in attendance; all yelling, playing games, singing songs or just strolling along the beach, it was a sight to behold! And it only got better with the food being served and the award ceremony to appreciate the wins of our knights right after. The students cheered for their fellow knights as they received their medals.
As the sun began to set, the bonfire blazed and the dance floor came to life. It was a myriad of lights as the stage lights reflected off the disco ball, the flames from the bonfire danced in the wind, and the phone cameras flashed in the night as students danced and just had a good time. It was a well deserved break not just for the students but also for the entire faculty and administration of Cedar, all of whom had a wonderful time.
