Sajjad Syed teaches Economics at Cedar College. With sixteen years of teaching experience his repertoire includes institutions like University of Westminster UK, Karachi Grammar School (KGS), The Lyceum and Bayview College. Stanford University, USA has certified and acknowledged Sajjad’s excellence of A Level teaching.
Upon graduation, Sajjad joined Chevron as an analyst. He later joined KGS and whilst teaching there, he was able to complete his MS in Economics and Management from SZABIST. A couple of years later, he began another Masters degree in Global Economic Policy from the United Kingdom.
Sajjad has served as Head of Economics at KGS. He also launched the University of London International Program in Pakistan, which offers various courses in the field of Economics, Management, Finance and Social Sciences (EMFSS). All these courses receive academic direction from London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE). The exposure to college level curriculum in Economics designed by LSE has developed him as an economist and a teacher helping him understand application and research methods that are most beneficial to students and practitioners alike.
When not teaching, Sajjad enjoys spending his time outdoors (and away from the economy) mountain climbing and trekking. He is especially fond of K2 Base Camp and the terrain in Nepal.
