The field of counselling has interested Mohammed since his A Levels. His time spent at the Citizens Foundation, where he taught Mathematics and English to under-privileged children, allowed him to not only be a teacher but also a mentor for children who needed personal support. It instilled within him an understanding of the needs of children when looking up to those around them.
After graduating from Nixor College, Mohammed joined IBA to pursue a Bachelor of Science (Economics/Mathematics Major). During his degree, he started interning at Special Olympics Pakistan where he coached Basketball to differently abled children. His extreme devotion and love for children caused his contract to be extended to a full year. One of the biggest achievements for Mohammed during his tenure in Special Olympics was when he got selected as a Unified Partner to represent Pakistan in the Special Olympic World Games Los Angeles where they came 2nd being awarded silver medals.
Mohammed is an Academic Counsellor for Physics and Law at Cedar College and he believes that such a platform provides a safe forum for students in the prime phase of their development to seek out assistance from those with apt experience. By monitoring each student’s progress, he feels that he can derive appropriate guidelines for each student so that they can tackle the various struggles they face in their academics.
Mohammed has a number of hobbies to kll his free time, ranging from playing online video games to physical sports such as rowing and squash.
