Having initially begun his career as a finance professional at Ernst and Young, Gareth found himself drawn to teaching Physics. He is now part of Cedar’s Associate teachers team.
Gareth feels that teaching Physics is the perfect vehicle for encouraging thinking, as it is literally about questioning everything – from how your smart phone works, to how light from stars that originated over 400 years ago reaches your retina today.
Apart from work, Gareth is also passionate about music and plays bass and guitar. He has performed with his band Strange Brew at various music functions, including those held at The Alliance Francaise, The PACC and The Karachi Arts Council.
Gareth loves Test Cricket and Tennis, and is a huge fan of Misbah ul Haq and Roger Federer. He enjoys reading novels and short stories too, though he doesn’t get the time to do so these days as he claims he is extremely busy at Cedar!
