Faha graduated from University College London with a BSc Honours in Economics. At university, she was especially interested in studying Mathematical and Statistical modules to eventually gain independent research experience. She also had a keen interest in learning Arabic and Spanish.
Faha Mahmood teaches A Level Economics at Cedar College. During her university years, she recognised that she was passionate about teaching Economics and started her teaching career through the UCL Generating Genius Tutoring program. Since then she has been involved in mentoring and tutoring initiatives, to enable young students to make the transition from, their A Level to university and their professional lives.
Faha has a strong research interest in Developmental Economics and the Philosophy of Economics. When she is not working, she volunteers to support young adults, by engaging in various projects with them. She volunteers at the Dawood Habib Girls Orphanage and at the UCL Academy.
To unwind, Faha enjoys reading, watching movies and swimming.
