Ahmad Karim teaches A Level Sociology and a number of Social Science Core Courses at Cedar College. He started his academic career in Lahore in 2004 and has since taught at Lahore Grammar School, The Lyceum School, Southshore and at SZABIST.
Ahmad has a Masters degree in International Education Policy from Harvard University and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the Lahore University of Management Sciences.
Prior to teaching Ahmad has worked as a researcher for RISEPAK, a World Bank funded interdisciplinary research unit at the Lahore University of Management Sciences. He was also a manager at Gallup’s Market Research Division, as well as at the Interactive Research and Development Division (a grant-based medical research organisation), overseeing development projects across the country.
Making his passion for photography his vocation, Ahmad is also a professional photographer who owns and runs Darvesh Studios; specialising in wedding photography. This venture also allows him to explore more creative elements of digital media through his photographic artwork.
Aside from photography, Ahmad enjoys trekking, surfing and bodyboarding. Unable to put his books down, his areas of particular interest include politics, religion, history, international relations, science and philosophy — he also loves fantasy fiction.
